There’s something magical about the depth and soul of film photography
It forces you to slow down, be intentional, and trust the process. On the other hand, digital offers flexibility, precision, and the ability to adapt on the fly. I use both formats because each serves a purpose in telling a story. Film allows for nostalgia and artistry, while digital ensures I never miss a fleeting moment. The unpredictability of film—light leaks, subtle grain, rich colors—adds character that digital can’t quite replicate. But digital has its own strengths, allowing me to quickly adjust to changing conditions and experiment with different techniques. I love the balance of using both, knowing that each frame I capture is influenced by the unique qualities of the medium. Whether it’s the soft, nostalgic feel of film or the crisp, dynamic clarity of digital, my goal is always the same—to create images that feel alive. Below are some of my favorite film shots over the years!
