The Process
Step 01 - Free Consultation Call
The journey begins with a free consultation call, where we’ll discuss your vision, goals, and any specific ideas you have for your session. This is your chance to ask questions, get to know me better, and ensure that we’re a perfect fit for each other. Whether you’re booking a portrait session, a wedding, or a custom commission, this call will help me understand what you're looking for and tailor my approach to your unique needs. We’ll go over details like location preferences, style, desired vibe, and any personal elements you want to incorporate into your shoot. At the end of the call, you’ll have a clear idea of how I work and what the next steps are in the process.
Step 02 - Contract Signing & Payment
Once we’ve discussed the details and you’re ready to move forward, the next step is signing the contract and securing your booking with a deposit. The contract ensures that both of us are aligned on expectations, deliverables, and timelines. It covers the important aspects such as the scope of your session, the rights to the images, and the payment structure. A non-refundable deposit is typically required at this stage, with the balance due closer to the session date. This process is essential to protect both parties and to officially lock in your session.
Step 03 - Location Scouting & Planning
Location is a crucial part of creating the perfect shot, so once your session is booked, we’ll dive into location scouting and planning. Depending on the style of your shoot, I’ll help you choose the ideal location that reflects your vision—whether it’s a hidden gem in nature, an urban backdrop, or a destination spot. If you have a specific location in mind, I’ll work with you to explore the best angles, lighting, and timings. For destination shoots or more unique locations, I can also handle the logistics of researching and scouting spots to ensure we get the most out of your session. This stage is about making sure the place we choose enhances the storytelling and overall aesthetic of your images.
Step 04 - The Session
When the big day arrives, we’ll be ready to bring your vision to life! During the session, I’ll guide you through the entire experience, from posing to getting comfortable in front of the camera. I understand that not everyone is used to being photographed, so I focus on creating a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere where you feel at ease. Whether it’s a fun, energetic vibe or something more intimate, I make sure we capture the raw, real moments that matter most to you. For destination shoots or weddings, I’ll be with you every step of the way, ensuring that the photos tell the full story of the day.
Step 05 - Post-Session & Image Delivery
After your session, I’ll begin the process of editing and curating your images. This is where the magic happens—each photo is carefully reviewed and edited to match the style and mood we discussed during our consultation. I provide sneak peeks a few days after your session to hold you over. Once your gallery is ready, you’ll receive access to an online gallery where you can view, download, and order prints of your images or albums. I want you to feel as excited about your images as I do, so I take extra care in ensuring the final result is exactly what you envisioned.
