FAQ

1. Where are you based? Do you travel for sessions?

I’m currently based in Michigan, but my work takes me all over the world. Travel is a core part of my artistry—I thrive on discovering new landscapes, cultures, and light to craft images that feel alive and deeply personal. Whether it’s a European city, the rolling dunes of the desert, or a remote coastal escape, I’m available for portraits, weddings, and creative commissions worldwide. If you have a vision, let’s bring it to life somewhere unforgettable.

2. Do you offer destination weddings or elopements?

Absolutely! If you’re planning an intimate elopement on a secluded cliffside, a chic city wedding, or a multi-day celebration across different landscapes, I’m here to document it with depth and artistry. I bring an editorial-meets-documentary approach, ensuring your story is told in an authentic, emotional, and timeless way.

3. Do you direct clients or take a more candid approach?

It’s a balance of both. I’ll guide you in a way that feels natural, allowing you to relax and be present in the moment. The goal isn’t stiff, over-posed images but rather photos that feel like you—effortless, intimate, and beautifully real. Whether it’s a solo portrait, a couple’s session, or a full wedding day, I document the in-between moments just as much as the grand ones.

4. How far in advance should I book a session?

For international and destination shoots, I recommend booking at least 6 months in advance to allow for travel logistics, permits, and securing the perfect location. However, I sometimes have last-minute availability—so if you have an idea brewing, don’t hesitate to reach out! The sooner we connect, the more we can craft an experience tailored to you.

5. How would you describe your photography style?

My work is documentary-driven, artful, and emotionally rich. I’m drawn to real moments, cinematic lighting, and details that tell a deeper story. Each frame is intentional, whether it’s a movement-filled portrait, a quiet landscape, or a raw, unscripted connection between people. I believe photography should make you feel something—that’s what I aim to create for you.

6. Do you offer creative commissions outside of portrait work?

Yes! While I specialize in portraits and weddings, I also take on artistic commissions, whether it’s editorial storytelling, fine art landscapes, or conceptual projects. If you have a vision—big or small—I’d love to hear it. Depending on the scope, location, and budget, we can create something completely unique to you.
